My Take on 1921

1921 makes me feel some type of way. It was a lot of different things going in this chapter with different people. These characters had a lot going on with themselves. I actually like what Eva did. Its takes a real woman to live her kids for 18 months. I felt like she had to do what she had to do to survive in this cold world. I don't anybody else would have did that for their children. It actually takes a lot of courage to leave your children behind like that. I guess she knew that her kids were going to be safe with her next door neighbor. She also had a lot of courage to get that compacted by bowel out of baby Ralph who she called Plum.It was messed up for Boy Boy just to leave her like that with all those children and she had to take on the responsibility to be a struggling single parent. Now a days seems like it's a lot of single parents raising their kids without their children's father and that's sad. If you can lay down and make the baby you should be able to take care of that baby you made. Men don't realize that for some reason. It was very rude of him to visit Eva and not ask about the kids and then on top of that bring his girlfriend with him and not even introduce to her to Eva. I really want to know what did she do to get  $10,000. I don't think I'll ever find out. It will always be a mystery that will not be solved. Eva is kind and loving person who takes care of people that she care about. Building that house and adopting the three Dewey's was a nice gesture. It's like she was giving back to the community and helping anyone she could . I think it's cute that the three Dewey's didn't know each other and they became close, like they were real brothers and that they grew up together. Tar baby was an alcoholic. Seems like he did was drink. Well, that is what he did all the time in his room. Hannah is just nasty. It's okay to flirt with men but it's a totally different story when you sleep with every man she flirt with. She didn't have any class for herself and she seemed to be okay with that. When Plum came back from World War I he was different. The war affected him. You get use to seeing things you have never seen before will probably make you go crazy. He became an heroin addict. Eva poured kerosene on him and burnt him to death. I could not burn my own child. I don't think I would have the guts to do that. Like that takes a lot for a person to do that. I wonder how she felt about that because I know for the fact I couldn't live knowing that I killed my own child. I wonder what 1922 is going to be about. I can't wait.
